Senior Python Developer
Location: Berlin / Remote
Full time (40h/week)

Already today, our products empower thousands of users in academia and industry, clinical surgeons, elite athletes, astronauts on the International Space Station, and many more.
To support our efforts, we are looking to grow our team with a full-time Python Developer to contribute to our various open-source and proprietary code bases. This can be a remote position or an on-site/hybrid position in our Berlin office.

What you would do
Take ownership of your projects and lead them to success.
Continuously strive to improve workflows and efficiency at Pupil Labs.
Contribute to Pupil Labs’ open-source and proprietary codebases.
Work with our R&D and design teams to implement functional, innovative, and beautiful new features.
Communicate and work with our open source community and other Pupil contributors.
Who you are
You have 5+ years of relevant experience in academia or industry.
You have a strong background in computer science.
You are fluent in Python.
You are an efficient implementer who cares about writing code that is a pleasure for others to read.
You are comfortable in written and spoken English.
Experience in any of the following areas is a bonus: GUI applications based on Qt, video processing/FFmpeg, working with machine-learning models, data science.
